Why are Black Jeans tighter than Blue Jeans, even when they’re the same size?

I have a size 38 pair of Blue and Black Jeans, yet the black ones are always harder to get on and feel much tighter than the blue ones.
They’re both normal jeans (meaning the blue ones aren’t relaxed or loose or anything like that) so this is confusing me.

The actual size and fit of a pair a jeans varies widely even within the same manufacturer’s different colors. It could be the thickness of the material, the composition of the material, where/when the jeans were made, or just simply a different pattern used to make each. I have jeans from the same company, same size, and same color, that fit differently.

Why? I wish I knew. Companies have a weird habit of making things in a manner that will make them the most money at the time, whatever that happens to be.
