The Hero's Journey is the model on which the vast majority of success stories and Hollywood movies are based. In fact, all Hollywood movies we have deconstructed are based on this model.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or writers.

The Hero's Journey:

a) Attempts to exploit the unconscious expectations of the public on this who has a history and how it should be said.

b) gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, points plot, the midpoint and so on.

c) Interpreted metaphorically, laterally and symbolically, allows an infinite number of stories diverse to be created.
