Top Size

Can I safely move a queen size mattress and box spring on top of my car 50 miles? If so, how?

I have a Hyundai Accent and need to move a queen size mattress and box spring 50 miles. I’ve moved a full size mattress on top of the car before easily. Do you think it is safe and/or possible to move a queen size mattress on top of it? If so, how would be the best way of strapping it down?

i mechanic for a living,and yes you can do it,but you need to have it tied down real secure on the top of the car,,if they stop you,,all there going to do is check and see how secure it is,,i doubt that you,ll get stopped ,,but if so, have it tied with the ratchet type draw straps,,and you,ll be alright,,i had one on top of my car for a long time from a move,,and never even got stopped,as long as it doesn’t obstruct your vision ,,they wont say anything,,good luck hope this help,s.
